However, this is nothing out of the ordinary and reports on the issue go back for many years. A while ago, a well-liked professional football player died of a tumor in his brain. He admitted to using anabolic steroids throughout his career. He cited his use of steroids as a cause for his illness. Attempting to utilize steroids to augment the effectiveness of your workouts is not a reasonable option. A deliberation of the side effects of anabolic steroids follows.</p>

<p> Hopefully, just as with so many other areas regarding <a target="_blank" href="http://www.liverdiseaserash.com/liver-damage-rash.html">rash caused by liver disease</a>, you will need to pay more attention to some things than others. What is more critical for you may be less so for others, so you have to think about your unique conditions. Simple geometry helps to explain one unforeseen side effect of muscle creation. The muscle groups can become so large that they hinder the normal functioning of other parts of the anatomy. The ever-enlarging muscles can encroach on the space requirements needed by bones and joints, for example. Obviously this presents a simple problem for the athlete, albeit an unusual one at that. The pro athlete will have to handle this situation as well as others that may arise from time to time. The long term use of anabolic steroids becomes less and less effective as time goes on. In this scenario, an individual may find themselves at increased risk for bone fractures.</p>
<p></p>
<p>There are many side effects to using anabolic steroids, and some are more serious than others. Even though these side effects are not medically significant, they can have dire social consequences. For example, water retention is very common and expected for both men and women. We would be remiss to not point out that when the body is retaining water, it puts the heart under considerable strain. Problems with blood clotting are a secondary, albeit very serious, side effect of steroid use. The various enzymes associated with proper liver function can become irregular. Related cardiovascular risks involve cholesterol levels. As you can see, there is a laundry list of medical complications that can arise from steroid use. Other related negative side effects of anabolic steroids relates to the sex organs and other phenomena. Decreased sperm count and a lower sex drive are two of the more commonly reported sexual side effects of steroid use. Taking on feminine features is a potentially embarrassing side effect of steroid use. The problem is that using anabolic steroids will eventually increase the amount of estrogen. To some level, breast development starts to manifest. Also, if excess breast development occurs, it is not a reversible process. The use of anabolic steroids is fraught with medical dangers and other risks. In addition to the straight forward health risks we discussed, there are some other non-related side effects that are not necessarily medical in nature. But it&#8217;s important to point out that anabolic steroids have a place when administered appropriately by medical professionals. That&#8217;s not to say that steroids are completely bad and worthless. However it&#8217;s impossible to sanction their abuse under any circumstances.</p>
