<p>This exercise requires you to perform both a ballistic and a grinding motion, which are both essential for building muscle strength.  Another big advantage of this exercising is that it involves a comparatively natural movement, meaning that your joints and muscles are naturally aligned as you perform the exercise.</p>
<p>The  &#8216;clean &#8216; part of this exercise takes its name from the incontrovertible fact that you want to swing the weight to your shoulder in a single clean move.  To ensure safety, you should usually don&#039;t forget to hold your wrist straight throughout the movement.</p>
<p>The move starts out with the Bell placed on the floor between your legs, which are positioned a shoulder width apart.  Take the kettlebell from its place on the floor and swing it to your shoulder half way thru the movement.  Don&#039;t forget to do this in one clean move.</p>
<p>As fast as the kettlebell reaches your shoulder, dip a little so that you can properly absorb the shock.  Use caution not to lean back to avoid causing an injury.  Keep your body tight as you slowly press the weight upwards.  As you execute the press, take care to keep your shoulder inside its normal alignment, meaning it should be at about the same level as your other shoulder.  Don&#039;t stretch it up as if you are raising your hand in class, desperate for your teacher to call you.  If you lose control, just let the Kettlebell fall and then begin again. </p>

The best way to build muscle is to use resistance training to progressively overload the targeted muscle groups. For best results you should activate all of the physiological systems of the body. You can easily do this by performing high intensity strength training intervals like the two exercises you&#8217;ll see in this workout video. The first exercise is the plyometric push up. Do not attempt this exercise unless you can easily perform twenty five consecutive push ups with good form. Do not perform this exercise if you have wrist problems. To perform the plyometric push up get into push up position then lower your body toward the ground quickly. Use the muscle of your chest and triceps to dynamically recoil back up into the push up position and into the air. Land softly by keeping the elbows bent slightly. Immediately and smoothly perform another repetition until you can no longer maintain good form. The next exercise is the kettlebell leg raise. Lay on your back with a pair of kettlebells at your sides. Press both bells into the air then raise your legs off of the ground until they&#8217;re perpendicular to the floor. Perform this motion slowly and with perfect control. At the top of your range of motion immediately lower your legs back toward the ground. Click the &#8220;LIKE&#8221; and &#8220;FAVORITE&#8221; buttons for good muscle karma. You&#8217;ll get stronger if you do. Thank you for watching <b>&#8230;</b></p>

<p>1. Round one: 10 air squats followed by 5 Hindu pushups (5 minutes, then take a 30 second break) 2. Round two: One arm dumbbell get up followed by 3 one-arm/one-leg rows (5 minutes, the take a 30 second break) 3. Round three (do each exercise for 30 seconds and do these 4 workouts 2 times): Dumbbell piston, squat thrusts, dumbbell high pull, narrow grip pushups 4. Round four (30 seconds each exercise, repeat these 3 twice): Step back lunge, dumbbell Y-press, rotational curls 5. Round five (30 seconds for these 3 movements): dumbbell prone row, dumbbell clean, dumbbell press, then combine all 3 of the movements into one and do for 2 minutes. This workout takes about 30 minutes and consists of five rounds that last for five minutes. I suggest using some type of stop watch to make sure you&#8217;re doing each exercise for the appropriate time and taking the right amount of break between. Work hard and don&#8217;t let the lighter weights deceive you. This is a good workout that you can do every other day or every third day. I hope you enjoy!
