I want to ask you a question. What if you want to participate in tryouts soccer, but are not in shape and have not played soccer in a long time. don’t bother too much If you go over these simple steps you will soon be ready to participate.
Being a soccer coach yourself, you must know that coaches eye the strongest players to make up the most promising team. Sometimes, the coaches are only looking for a few new players who can fit in the existing lot.
Apart from fitness a lot other factors are at play during soccer tryouts.
In order for your kid to be successful ensure his talent and personality is aptly exhibited in the area the coach is looking for.
The list of different aspects that coaches and soccer association look for in the players during the soccer tryouts is as follows:
Skill: The main aspect of evaluation of the coach of how well the player performs the skill that are necessary to play soccer. If players can’t perform these skills consistently during soccer tryouts, it’s unlikely that they’ll be able to perform during a game. for example skills like tapping, dribbling, passing and control the ball. Evaluate the player based on his intuitive behavior and his knowledge on soccer
Conditioning: A player with excellent conditioning coupled with average skills will always attract the coach’s eye. so will be the player who is out of breath just after 15 mins into soccer tryout. If your players can’t withstand the tryouts soccer they let themselves and the team down.
the coach will be wondering why the player is not fit Not in shape at soccer is a reflection of your thinking, it can be either you don’t care, or are lazy, or you are highly un disciplined thinking that being out of shape wouldn’t matter.Â
Attitude: the player should always try to learn and also should have the potential Do the player exhibit the potential to perform all the task to his best every time?
Are they ready to work on their weaknesses so as to improve upon their skills? are they willing to go that extra yard Are they ready to learn new skills, techniques and strategies Are they open to learning new positions without complaining?
after the soccer tryouts concentrate on what happens next. the soccer tryouts are spread across days many of the times. the coach might inform you immediately if your player has made to the team. Few times their decision might be informed through a call or letter indicating their decision. don’t ask the coach whether your player has succeeded or not
finally make sure you have collected everything that belongs to you. thanks the coach for his valuable time and inputs which will help you make a better player during the soccer tournament inform him before leaving
